Peer Review Process

Every manuscript submitted to JET (Journal of Education and Teaching) undergoes a rigorous double-blind peer review process to ensure the quality, originality, and academic integrity of the articles published.

Upon submission, each manuscript is first reviewed by the Editorial Team to determine whether it meets the journal’s focus, scope, and formatting requirements. Manuscripts that do not comply with these initial criteria may be returned to the author for revision or rejected before peer review.

Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are then sent to at least two independent reviewers who are experts in the relevant field. During the double-blind review, both the authors and the reviewers remain anonymous to each other to maintain objectivity and fairness in the evaluation process.

Reviewers are asked to assess the manuscript based on several criteria, including originality, methodological soundness, clarity of presentation, relevance to the field of education and teaching, and contribution to existing knowledge. Reviewers may recommend one of the following decisions:

  • Accept without revision

  • Accept with minor revisions

  • Revise and resubmit for further review

  • Reject

The final decision regarding publication is made by the Editor-in-Chief based on the reviewers’ comments and the overall quality of the manuscript. Authors will be notified of the review results along with constructive feedback to help improve their work.

All accepted articles are subject to copyediting, proofreading, and layout editing before final publication. The editorial team ensures that all publications meet the journal’s academic and ethical standards.
