AUTHOR GUIDELINES
Al-Muqaronah: Jurnal Perbandingan Mazhab dan Hukum published twice a year, number (1) is published in June, and number (2) is published in December. Al-Muqaronah Journal does not set a specific article theme per edition. This aims to ensure that research with the latest themes can be published immediately.
Submitted articles must meet the following guidelines:
Articles are the result of research, either in the form of library research (conceptual-doctrinal studies) or field research (empirical) which discusses themes of legal thought or comparative legal studies or such as: Islamic Law, Positive Law Comparative of Schools and Society, Comparative Customary Law and/ or Positive Law.
The article is the result of the author's original research/work, not plagiarized. If the article is taken from thesis, thesis or dissertation research, the author must state this in the introduction.
The article has never been published, is being processed in another journal, and/or is not being submitted to another journal.
Articles can be written in Indonesian or English.
If the article is written in Indonesian, the abstract must be written in two languages, English-Indonesian. If written in English, the abstract is only in English. Each abstract section (English and/or Indonesian) consists of 150-200 words, written in 1 paragraph, single spaced.
Article length between 5000-7000 words.
Articles are written using Open Office, either in MS-Word, RTF, or WordPerfect format.
Arabic script (verses of the Koran, Hadith, or rules of fiqh) are written in Latin letters using transliteration guidelines.
Articles have, at minimum, 20 references; either in the form of scientific journal articles or books. References in the form of scientific articles (journals), are the latest references, at least from the last 5 years.
Writing footnotes and bibliography using the "Mendeley" application, with style: Chicago Manual of Style 17th edition (complete notes). Or if you can't use the application, the writer can use references manually while still paying attention to the rules for writing footnotes
